The LX50SUPER is the ultimate solution for turning logs into professional-grade lumber, slabs, and more by combining premium engineering with an affordable price point. Built specifically for those who need more power and durability than the LX50START, this mobile sawmill features a heavier-duty bent steel frame and a reliable 14HP KOHLER gas engine designed for consistent cutting through dense hardwoods. To provide total mobility, this model is bundled with the GO Trailer, transforming the setup into a truly portable lumber mill designed for off-road towing in rugged environments. The trailer package features a durable steel frame with a single axle and suspension for smooth transport, along with six adjustable outriggers that ensure the mill stays rock-solid and level on uneven terrain. For enhanced stability and security, the bundle includes an extra log clamp, integrated bed leveling feet, and two transport clamps with removable fenders to protect the equipment while on the move.
The powerful and dependable KOHLER Command Pro 14HP gas engine features Quad-Clean™ all-season four-stage cyclonic air filter for effective engine protection even in tough and dirty sawing conditions. In addition, performance-driven features include a forged-steel crankshaft, electronic ignition and cast-iron cylinder liner for professional grade power and performance. Durable Sawmill Bed with Diagonal Crossbars
The sawmill bed adds strength and durability where it counts with ¼” thick laser cut steel bed rails, cross sections with wide top surface areas for easier log handling, and extra diagonal crossbars for additional stability. In addition, the entire sawmill bed is painted and constructed of the same premium solid steel throughout the bed to last for years, not seasons.
Saw Longer Logs with Optional Bed Extensions
Saw logs up to 12’ 5” in length with the included sawmill bed sections. Optional 5’ bed extensions are available for sawing longer lengths with no practical limit. All sawmill bed sections are modular and easily bolt together for seamless extension of your sawmill. Simplify leveling of the sawmill bed with included adjustable bed leveling feet available for each bed section.
Maximize Sawing Capacity with Rectangular Throat
Saw softwood and hardwood logs up to 26” in diameter with a 23-1/2” width of cut and an 8” depth of cut – more than enough capacity for the hobby sawyer. Maximize sawing capacity with the rectangular saw throat design that provides the same 23-1/2” width of cut from the blade all the way up to the saw head compared to triangular designs that lose sawing width capacity the deeper you cut.
Secure Logs with 2 Quick-Set Log Clamps
Constructed of strong tube steel, two quick-set log clamps tightly fasten logs for sawing and are adjustable up/down and in/out as material is cut. Comparable plated style log clamps are lightweight and difficult to provide a safe and secure clamp on heavier logs. The log clamp uses a large acme thread screw for better durability and a clamp point block for an extra grip on a round log or squared cant. Each log clamp is able to move between other cross sections and additional log clamps are available.
Support Logs with 2 Quick-Set Side Supports
Two strong tube steel quick-set side supports are adjustable up/down to stabilize logs during sawing and turning logs. Each side support is mounted on the same steel bar as an adjustable log clamp for improved log stability. An additional built-in bed side support on each cross section eliminates the need for quick-lock side supports while sawing a squared cant and allows for final cuts within 1” of the bed.
Convenient Sawdust Management with Port
Keep sawdust away from the band wheels, belts, and sawmill blade with the 4” diameter sawdust port conveniently located on the opposite side of the operator. In addition, the open slots on the bottom of the saw head direct additional sawdust away from moving parts to further reduce sawdust build-up that can impact sawmill and blade performance.
Quick Sawhead Up/Down with Crank Handle
Quickly and accurately move the sawhead up and down to prepare for sawing with the crank handle. Easily turn the handle clockwise or counterclockwise with 68 locking locations to adjust the blade depth for the next cut in 1/68” increments. A log scale is also included for sawing 8/4”, 6/4”, 5/4”, 4/4”, and 3/4” lumber.
