Versatile Sawmill Attachment to Resaw Cants, Boards, and Slabs into Valuable Wood Products
Make your sawmill more versatile with the Resaw Attachment for Wood-Mizer LT15 to LT70 model sawmills with power feed (LT15 requires additional RS2-LT15 stand to operate). Designed for hobby and professional sawyers, the ability to efficiently recover slabs, process cants, and create lap siding makes the Resaw Attachment a perfect addition for anyone who wants to get the most out of their sawn material or expand their product offering.
Operation
Material up to 9” thick and 18” wide is fed through the stationary sawmill head by a powered conveyor belt with variable speed up to 54 fpm. With the sawmill blade engaged, material is cut into two pieces with each pass. For additional processing, material is returned to the conveyor and fed through the sawmill blade until finished. The conveyor belt is easily adjusted and can be positioned at 0°, 2°, 4°, 6°, or 8° in order to produce straight cut boards or angled lap siding.
An optional shingle belt can be added to make shingles up to 18” long. With two sets of stop blocks on the belt, one end of the material is placed on the blocks while the other end is placed on the conveyor belt to create an angled cut for wood shingles.
